Low level laser therapy (LLLT/cold-laser) applications have already been in use for more than 30 years with no report of any serious safety issue. There is no real physical risks, however, the only real risk is that the effectiveness in treating baldness.
In January of 2007, the FDA approved the Laser Comb to re-grow hair. However, the laser comb was only approved for safety, apparently it was unclear to what extend the FDA reviewed or cleared it based on its effectiveness in treating hair loss.
Another regret fact of the low level laser hair loss therapy is
the results of hair restoration are not achieved
instantly. A person needs to very patient in order to achieve
effective results. The significant changes should be
expected for 6 to 12 months.
